This is a 1969 reprint of a book that dates to 1859, two years before the Civil War. It has been printed off of a copy in the Fisk University Library and reproduces some of the "aging" that was evident on that copy, especially the foxing. Black boards with gold lettering on the spine. No indication of which printing this is from 1969. No names, notes, highlighting, etc. Clean and tight. No jacket but I don't think it had one. Couldn't find this edition on line.
