Canfield Oil Company had this printed as a promotional item. Some (probably all) of it is reprinted from the Chicago Daily News' book of hints with Canfield Oil advertising included throughout. This is basically newspaper-grade paper made into a booklet. Hints on laundry, wardrobe, canning and preserving, first aid, etc. Includes charts on canning and freezing times for various items. Edges are somewhat tattered, cover is torn about 3.5" up the spine, then over about 2". Paper is toned (darkened) but it is clean and easy to read. Great collectible.
